Nurse Manager of Clinical Operations

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

It’s an exciting time to join a wonderful team as it continues to grow! This position will partner with the Clinical Quality Team to leverage the Company’s brand to provide A Higher Standard of Care through Clinical Quality Support. The Manager of Clinical Operations will support franchise-owned agencies in a variety of ways and contribute to the advancement of key clinical quality initiatives including Joint Commission accreditation, training, and compliance.

This position will be based in the Franchise Support Center in Gurnee, IL

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute and oversee the clinical quality platform
  • Provide on-site and video conferencing clinical site visits to franchisees and their teams providing clinical operational support, promoting quality care and strategizing on agency growth
  • Act as the subject matter expert/resource on clinical programs and systems
  • Resource for state and federal regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc)
  • Resource for Joint Commission standards and support
  • Resource for professional practice standards
  • Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures and forms
  • Coordinate clinical education opportunities, webinars, and training
  • Contribute to interdepartmental efforts (technology, operations, marketing, etc).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSN required; MSN or MPH desirable
  • Active unencumbered RN license in at least one state with 5-10 years recent clinical and management/supervisory and training experience;
  • Outcome oriented; team player;
  • Able to work in fast paced environment with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to teach and train on processes and procedures;
  • Strong communication, training and compliance skills;
  • Ability to travel up to 50%;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products;
  • Must be able to work productively in an environment with high levels of interruption;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;

Desirable:

Experience with Private Duty Home Care, Medicare Home Health, Joint Commission Accreditation, Electronic Health Records, and Multi-state/Multi-Site location management.
