We are seeking a Nurse Director Cardiovascular Surgical Services for our community hospital in the Kansas City, MO area.

Job Summary:

 The Nurse Director Cardiovascular of Surgical Services is responsible for planning organizing directing and controlling the administrative and operational activities of the CV Perioperative Services CV Operating Rooms CV Anesthesia and Pre-Operative Clinic.

The Director will drive the quality and resource management to ensure the implementation of current standards of practice and care. He or she will work collaboratively with the physicians and other departments to achieve quality patient outcomes. Responsibility for compliance and regulatory standards will be required. The Director along with physician medical and surgical directors will lead the development and implementation of strategic and business plans for these services.

 3 – 5 years of experience

Home Healthcare Clinical Nurse Director (DON)

We are seeking a Home Healthcare Clinical Nurse Director (DON) to guide, lead and build a fast growing, result oriented Home Healthcare Facility located in the Farmington Hills, MI area. Our Home Healthcare Facility services the southwestern Oakland county and western Wayne county.

The Clinical Nurse Director (DON) will be responsible for the coordination and serving as a liaison with appropriate parent and affiliate departments and committees, the development of policies and guidelines for clinical personnel, and providing professional input to related administrative systems. You will direct and supervise professional and auxiliary personnel rendering patient care services, performing marketing duties and communicating the concept of quality client care to the general community.

The Clinical Nurse Director (DON) will have primary responsibility for leadership and supervision to ensure that key process indicators are met. The position has 24-hour accountability for the quality of care delivered to all Patients. Insures a comfortable, orderly and safe environment conducive to good patient care in compliance with physician orders. Instructs and evaluates all levels of assigned personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Nurse (RN) must have 2 years or more of Home Healthcare  experience as a Nurse Supervisor, ADON, or as a DON
  • Must be licensed in Michigan (RN License Only)
  • Have an outstanding desire to provide great customer service and have creative clinical management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills is a must
  • Must be a working “hands on” Director (DON)
